Building A Resilient Future.
Topic of the evening: Child and humanitarian aid with a focus on resilience.
Our first event was a complete success! 🧡
On Monday evening (17.06.2024) we hosted our first event in the Viadukt Bogen of the Impact Hub in Zurich. It was great to see so many familiar and new faces, and the networking within the there for you community was simply impressive. We even discussed initial ideas for exciting collaborations.
Special thanks go to our inspiring speakers:
- Markus Renevey (Swiss Resilience Hub): He opened the evening and gave a fascinating insight into the world of resilience.
- Sara Aduse (Combating female genital mutilation in Ethiopia): Thanks to her strong personality, Sara managed to set up a foundation at a young age that is passionately committed to ending female genital mutilation.
- Claudia Masika (Children’s aid in Kenya): She brings hope and education to Kenya and is building a large education centre.
- Amine Diare Conde (Essen für Alle): His story is an impressive demonstration of what people are capable of when they have a vision and a great deal of perseverance.
- Thomas Gilbert (Kamboo Project): His NGO supports countless children in Cambodia and works closely with the local community.
It was very touching to experience the stories and developments of the projects.
Our goal of strengthening the there for you community and making the impact of the projects tangible was achieved.
Many thanks to everyone who took part and made this evening so special!
