Daniela Ryf has set herself the goal of further improving the living conditions of the children in these projects. What began as a good deed has evolved into the Daniela Ryf Foundation. Daniela realized that she could achieve a lot with very little. With greater resources, she could achieve even more and offer the children a real chance at a better life. The two projects, Blessed to Transform and Paula Mercy Foundation, together help over 700 children.
Blessed to Transform, led by Gladys Njeri, supports over 700 children and young people. Gladys ensures that the children receive a hot meal every day. Often the only meal of the day. She also provides the children with clothing, hygiene articles and shows them the way to a constructive future. In addition to the 750 meals a day that are possible thanks to the Daniela Ryf Foundation, Daniela would like to help expand the project. With a new kitchen and additional hired help, Gladys could reach and accompany even more children.
The second project, the Paula Mercy Foundation, was founded by Paula Mwangi and looks after 30 neglected children. They are given a safe home, food and the chance to go to school. Daniela is already collecting donations to provide immediate support for essential supplies such as food, water and electricity. She also contributes to the construction and maintenance of the facility, including the installation of stoves, and ensures the safety of the children by tackling necessary repairs to the dormitories.
Daniela Ryf is committed to ensuring that both projects continue to grow and give even more children in need a chance of a better life.
